The Grand Haven Buccaneer hockey team captured a Division 2 regional title on Saturday with a 6-2 victory over Forest Hills Northern/Eastern.
In next week’s quarterfinals, the Bucs will take on Saginaw Heritage, a 2-1 winner over Escanaba in its regional final game.
For Grand Haven, Ian Hibbard led the way with two goals. The Bucs also received single goals from Tom Zelenka, Asa Pellegrom,Tyler Ploeg and Hayden Modaff.
