Grand Haven senior post player Abby Cole finished third in voting for Michigan’s Miss Basketball Award.
The announcement was made Monday by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan.
Tori Jankoska, from Freeland, was named the winner after garnering 2,450 points in the voting. Taylor Gleason from Goodrich was second with 2,132 points. Cole finished with 1,781.
The 6-foot-5 Cole averaged 14.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 7.7 blocks, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She will lead the undefeated Bucs into Tuesday night’s Class A quarterfinal game against Grand Ledge.
