The site has changed, the matchup has not.

The Muskegon Big Reds’ Class A quarterfinal game with Grand Rapids Christian has been moved to Rockford High School. Tuesday’s game begins at 7 p.m.

Originally, the game was scheduled to be played at Lansing Eastern, but the MHSAA decided to change venues when two West Michigan schools won their respective regionals.

A trip to Lansing Eastern is more than 100 miles, while Rockford is less than 50 miles away.

Muskegon were road warriors already in this tournament by having to play its regional semifinal game in Gaylord. That game was against Marquette, but was part of the Cedar Springs regional. The Big Reds defeated Hudsonville on Wednesday night in the regional final at Cedar Springs.

Muskegon and Grand Rapids Christian have identical 19-6 records.
