Shelby advanced to the Class C state quarterfinals on Thursday night with a 55-35 win over Traverse City St. Francis.
The Tigers will take on Houghton in the Class C quarterfinals on Tuesday at Petoskey High School.
Shelby was in control throughout against St. Francis as they took a 10-5 lead after one quarter and led 32-14 at halftime.
Sydney Czurak led the Tigers with 17 points and 18 rebounds.
Abby Rodriguez finished with 17 points and seven assists for Shelby and Michelle Brown scored 10 points.
