A 32-minute battle between two talented teams ended up tipping in favor of the Shelby Tigers on Tuesday night.
In the end, the Tigers (20-3) survived 58-56 over Leroy Pine River, which finished the season 20-2.
The Tigers led by three after one quarter and one at the half.
Sydney Czurak led Shelby with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Abby Rodriguez added 13 points and Tristen Moore had eight.
Kassy Nelson poured in a game-high 26 points for Leroy Pine River. She also had five steals.
