Muskegon native Andrew Rowe finished the regular season as the leading scorer for the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals.

Rowe, from Mona Shores, not only led the Jackals in scoring, but finished seventh in league-wide scoring with 72 points.

During the season, Rowe also played five games with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

For the Jackals, Rowe, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, had 29 goals and 43 assists for 72 points, 43 penalty minutes and a plus-5 rating in 66 games.

Elmira is currently in a best-of-seven playoff series with Florida in a first-round series.

In the regular season, Elmira finished second in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division with a 40-25-3-4 record.
