Reeths-Puffer captured both games of its doubleheader on Wednesday against Muskegon in baseball action. The Rockets won the opener 12-1 and 10-0 in the nightcap.

The Rockets erupted for nine runs in the fourth inning as pitcher Jake Balkema posted his first win of the season. He struck out four and did not allow a walk.

Jacob Hardy, Kyle Ferris, JJ Covington and Jacob Boes each had RBI singles for Reeths-Puffer.

In Game 2, the Rockets scored seven runs in the fourth inning as winning pitcher Nate Brown struck out eight and allowed four hits.

Caleb Sheffer led the Rockets with two hits. Jared Erickson hit s two-run double. Zach Santos and Parker Richardson each had RBI singles for the Rockets (3-2-1).
