Former Oakridge Eagle standout Jamie Potts hit his first collegiate home run on Saturday in Game 1 of Grand Valley’s doubleheader split against Walsh.
Grand Valley won the first game 12-0 and dropped the second game 1-0.
Potts homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning of the opening game.
Potts, a sophomore, is hitting .325 in 28 games this season. He has three doubles, one triple and one home run. He is 5-for-5 in stolen bases.
