The Muskegon Community College women’s softball team evened its record at 15-15 with a doubleheader sweep of Glen Oaks on Tuesday.

MCC won the opener 6-0 and the nightcap 9-1.

In the opener, Kaytlin Wozniak allowed three hits and struck out three in pitching a shutout. The leading hitter was Deanna Stickler-Gatson with a home run in the second inning. She finished with two RBI. Brooke Agers added an RBI single for the Jayhawks, who are 6-2 in the Western Conference.

In the nightcap, Agers had two hits, one a double, and knocked in two runs. Kelly Barnes and Emily Peake each had a run-scoring single. Pitcher Taylor Lemke picked up the victory on the mound. She allowed four hits, struck out four and issued no walks.
