The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks dropped a 10-2 decision to visiting Ancilla in the first game, but regrouped in a big way in the nightcap with a 14-0 victory.

The second game lasted five innings.

In the opener, Travis Cohoon had three hits hit pace the Jayhawks.

In the nightcap, Nick Keller tossed a three-hit shutout.  The Jayhawks pounded out 16 hits in the second game as each of the starters had at least one hit.

Drew Johnson led MCC (27-13, 16-7) with three hits. John Jackoviak had a triple and a home run, Jake Hahn had a double and a three-run homer, Greg Chulski had a single and a three-run homer, Chris Williams had two doubles and knocked in two runs and Travis Cohoon had two RBI with a pair of hits.

The Jayhawks played the conclusion of a suspended game Wednesday in Lansing and finish the league slate on Thursday at home against Lake Michigan CC.
