The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks swept another league baseball doubleheader with 8-2 and 10-8 victories over Delta Community College on  Thursday.

In the opener, Adam Poel pitched a complete game with six strikeouts. He allowed four hits. Offensively, Jason Ribecky had two hits and knocked in three runs. Cale Gould, Brian Barnes and Drew Johnson each had two hits.

The second game went right down the wire as the Jayhawks hung on for the narrow victory. David Foster struggled on the mound but did pick up the victory. Bryant Westra notched his sixth save of the season. John Jackoviak led the offense with a three-run homer. Greg Chulski had three hits while Ty Devine and M.J. Oshinski each had two hits.

The Jayhawks return to action Saturday at Henry Ford.
