Whitehall native Nate McLouth finished 3-for-5 on Saturday in the Baltimore Orioles’ 5-3 victory over the New York Yankees. The game was played at Yankee Stadium.
McLouth led off the game with a double and scored one out later on a fielder’s choice to give the Orioles the early lead.
He singled in the second and was thrown out at home plate later in the inning.
His double to centerfield in the fourth inning for his third hit of the day.
He later grounded out and struck out in the sixth and ninth innings, respectively.
The three-hit game helped raise McLouth’s batting average to .294.
