Whitehall native Nate McLouth had a solid day at the plate and on the basepaths on Wednesday in the Baltimore Orioles’ 6-5 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

McLouth had two hits, one a double, scored three runs, knocked in one run, walked twice and had his fifth stolen base of the season.

He had a ground-rule double in the first inning and later scored. In the seventh, he singled, stole second and scored on Manny Michado’s triple to tie the game at 5-all.

McLouth is now batting .293 on the season.
