Oakridge swings big bats in winning pair of baseball games over Hart

Oakridge racked up 26 runs in its baseball doubleheader sweep of the Hart Pirates in the West Michigan Conference.

In the opener, the Eagles scored five runs in the third inning and five more in the fourth to take control of a game they won 11-1. Jordan Wahr was the winning pitcher. He had six strikeouts.

In the second game, Oakridge pounded out 14 hits and won 15-2. Scott Sittser had two doubles and knocked in four runs. Mike Whitaker had three RBI. Francis Decker was the winning pitcher.

Brandon Amstutz had two hits for Hart.
