Terry Ficorelli’s contract will not be renewed by the Evansville Icemen for next season.
Multiple sources have confirmed Ficorelli will not be back after calling games three seasons for the Icemen.
Ficorelli had four stints in Muskegon with the Mohawks in the 1970s, the Lumberjacks in the 1980s and, most recently with the Fury and the Lumberjacks. In all, he spent 15 years in Muskegon and called the action for more than 1,300 games while here.
In all, Ficorelli has been a hockey broadcaster for 39 years. He served the Icemen as the vice president of communications and broadcaster.
When the pro Lumberjacks left town, Ficorelli and current Lumberjacks’ owner Josh Mervis could not come to terms so Ficorelli accepted an offer to move to Evansville, where former Muskegon coach Rich Kromm and a handful of players went as well.

Terry's a great man and a very genuine all-around person.
