The 13th Annual Rocket Invitational track meet scheduled for Friday

The 13th annual Rocket Invitational Track Meet will be run Friday at Reeths-Puffer High School.

Most of the schools in the 15-team meet are from the area. Area schools competing will be Fremont, Fruitport, Grand Haven, Holton, Ludington, Mona Shores, Muskegon Catholic, Muskegon Heights, North Muskegon, Orchard View and host Reeths-Puffer.

Rounding out the field with be teams from Greenville, Hudsonville, Traverse City Central and Traverse City West.

There will be a Green Division for the larger schools and a White Division for the smaller schools.

Several field events will take place beginning at 1 p.m. Running events will commence at 4 p.m.

Team champion and runner-up trophies will be awarded to both the boys and girls meets.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
