Early runs spark Kent City to OK Silver baseball victory over Lee

The Kent City Eagles scored three runs in the first inning and four in the second  and defeated Lee 7-4 in baseball action on Wednesday.

Tyler Hawkins was the winning pitcher for the Eagles. He allowed four earned runs, six hits and five walks. He struck out seven.

Austin Thompson had a triple, scored two runs and knocked in two. Travis Hielkema also knocked in two runs.

Kent City improved to 10-2, 5-1 in the OK Silver.
