Kent City pitchers were nearly perfect in its 2-0 win over Grant. The Eagles combined for a no-hitter and allowed just one walk.

Austin Thompson struck out three and allowed one walk in his three innings of work. Jake Krueger came in relief and went three innings and struck out two. Randy Thompson entered in the seventh and shut down Grant for the save.

Tyler Hawkins led the way at the plate for Kent City with one hit and two RBI.

Thompson had two hits while Cody Chipman and Kyle Busse each had a single and a run.
