Lynch scores three goals in Ludington’s soccer shutout of Benzie Central

Jacquelyn Lynch scored three goals on Wednesday and led the Ludington Orioles to an 8-0 district soccer victory over Benzie Central.

Ingrid Peterson and Maddie Haugli scored two goals each for the Orioles. Maressa Sarto added one goal.

Haugli and Lynch had two assists each.

Molly Hallead had one save to record her eight shutout of the season.

Ludington had a 28-1 advantage in shots.

Ludington ( 14-4-2) and will play Big Rapids on Saturday at 6 p.m. in Reed City for the district championship.
