Mona Shores rallies back, falls in extra innings to Kenowa HIlls in baseball

Mona Shores fell to Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 11-9 in nine innings despite a huge seventh inning rally.

The Sailors forced extra innings by scoring six runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the score at 9-all.

The Knights scored two in the top of the ninth to take the lead for good.

Jared Karnitz led Mona Shores with three hits. Tyler Trovinger and Colin Rabach had two hits apiece for the Sailors.
