Montague faced a pair of tough opponents in the GMAA County Baseball Tournament. The Wildcats fell to Oakridge 5-3 in their first game and lost to North Muskegon 6-0.

Francis Decker was the winning pitcher for Oakridge.

Montague’s Jacob Buchberger had two hits,  including a triple, and Brandon Stine had a double and a single. Jacob Marsh walked three times and scored a run for the Wildcats. Chayce Lohman had an RBI single and Chase Casebolt had a sacrifice fly.

Ryan Loudermilk pitched three innings and gave up four hits and two earned runs. Bryce Raeth came on in relief and struck out two and gave up two hits and two earned runs.

In Montague’s loss to North Muskegon, Marsh had a pair of hits and a walk. Cameron Brayman had a double for the Wildcats.

Adrian Anderson was the winning pitcher for North Muskegon.
