Western Michigan Christian came up just short, 8-6 in a River Valley Conference baseball game against Grand Rapids Covenant Christian on Thursday.
Logan Waller had four hits, one a double, and Henry DeKam added a double, single and knocked in one run. Chad Beisel and Bailey Heykoop each had two singles for WMC.
“I think our guys are starting to play with some confidence,” WMC coach Darin Waller said.
