The Western Michigan Christian Warriors finished off their regular season with a 3-2 nonleague soccer victory over host Orchard View.

Julie Merz, Brea Frein and Alexys Riksen scored goals for WMC (12-4-2).

“This was a great competitive game tonight,” WMC coach David Hulings said. “OV played really well to keep us working.  It was senior night and they kept coming at us.”
WMC led 2-0 before OV pulled to within 2-1. After WMC made it 3-1, OV finished the game’s scoring.
“We had a some great attacks,” WMC coach David Hulings said. “You could tell we played last night but with only a couple of subs the girls conditioning really paid off.
“We have a few days now to get our minds and hearts ready for the second season,” Hulings said.
