Whitehall received goals from Morgan Kellis and Kelsey Gensler on Monday night and defeated North Muskegon 2-0 in a West Michigan Conference girls soccer game.

Kellis’ goal game in the first minute of the game and was assisted by Jordan Loudermilk.

Gensler’s goal was set up by Kellis.

“We came out strong in the first half, but sort of relaxed in the second,” Vikings’ coach Dan Nichols said. “We gave them a few opportunities that they just couldn’t capitalize on so we were fortunate for that.”

Jordan Jerome posted the shutout in net for the Vikings.

“Defensively we have become stronger and confident,”Nichols said.
