Muskegon area football players have a new opportunity coming to Oakridge High School on Thursday, July 11th.

The Lake Michigan Football Report will be stopping in Muskegon and is looking for aspiring high school players who want to go on to play at the college level.

THE LAKE aims to provide in-depth coverage for players outside of Metro Detroit. It will focus on finding football players from west Michigan who often have a difficult time competing against talent from the east side of the state.

Featuring exposure events and educational workshops for prep players, The Lake will give an added edge for prospects from the classes of 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Several area football players have used The Lake to help in moving on to the college ranks. Fruitport’s Amillio Flores will be attending Northwood this fall and is considered a product of The Lake.
