Over the course of the next seven weeks, the LSJ will be posting its 2012-13 Season 1 video highlights. Each game was special, moments were unforgettable and that’s why we are rehashing this incredible past year.

We will be posting videos from the LSJ’s Youtube page on Facebook. The videos with the most Facebook likes will be crowned winner at the end of the seven weeks.

But let’s not be coy with each other because we know summer in Michigan equals one thing: outdoors. We here at the LSJ know this and that why we’re going to entertain you before you step out into the great wide open. We’ll also be here for you when a break is needed too.

Nothing will be held back. The summer session has arrived.

Video Contest Summer 13’s first three entries are . . .

Spring Lake’s women’s 4×400 relay team showed the Lakes 8 they meant business taking home first place at the conference meet on May 10th. Katie Wells, Emma Mitchell, Sydney Chaney, and Carolyn Artega ran a 4:14.2 in the event.

Bernard Smith tallied a triple double in Western Michigan Christian’s narrow 51-49 win over Reeths-Puffer. The battle took place on January 2 at the home of the Warriors.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks had a very encouraging 2012-13 season but fell in the opening round to eventual 2013 Clark Cup champions Dubuque. The Jacks turned the tables on Dubuque earlier in the season with a 3-2 decision on Nov. 3.
