Saturday’s annual Mercy Health Seaway Run has added a new twist for what is expected to be another huge turnout in downtown Muskegon.
The event includes 5K and 15K races, the same as it’s been for years, however, this year, the event will include a half marathon (13.1 miles). There also is a 5-mile walk.
The first race begins at 7:30 a.m. on Franklin Street near Western Avenue.
There is still time to get registered. Online registration closes at 11 p.m. Wednesday. Go to their website at www.goracego.com
Runners also can sign up in person on from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the Watermark, located at 920 Washington. There will no registration on the day of the race.
