Beal City used a fast start to claim a Division 4 regional baseball title over Muskegon Catholic on Saturday.

The Aggies scored four runs in the first inning and went on for a 6-2 victory over the Crusaders, who ended their season at 27-2.

Dom DeTorres, still healing from a foot injury, took the loss for MCC. He allowed five runs, four earned in 1 1/3 innings of work. He allowed two hits and two walks.

Junior Adam Callow came on and gave up one run in 4 2/3 innings of work. He gave up three hits and three walks.

MCC was limited to five hits. Callow had a double while four others each had a single.
