Entries are being accepted for the Patriot Golf Day event set for July 18 at Grand Haven Golf Club.

The event serves as a fund-raiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation which helps spouses or children of soldiers killed or 90-100 percent disabled while in service to the United States with educational scholarships and other assistance.

The Patriot Golf Day will have shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The cost is $125 per player; $75 for Grand Haven Golf Club members and military veterans; or $50 for active-duty military personnel.

The Folds of Honor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. More information on its programs can be found at Foldsofhonor.org.

Tournament organizers also are seeking corporate and hole sponsors. Corporate sponsorships are $1,000 and include one foursome in each shotgun and a large banner. Hole sponsorships are $100 per hole.

For more information or to register, call the Grand Haven Golf Club pro shop at (616) 842-4040. The course is located at 17000 Lincoln, Grand Haven, 49417.
