The Muskegon Mustangs face off against the Southeast Michigan Mercenaries today at 3 p.m. at Oakridge High School.

Both teams met each other earlier this season and Muskegon came out on top 44-14 but Mustang quarterback Aaron James is not looking past today’s matchup.

“We played them back in June and we’ll be focusing on their defensive backs,” said James.

James was also willing to talk about how he approaches the line and what he’s looking for before a play happens.

“When I get to the line, I look for the coverage,” said James. “After I see that, I look for my reads and I find the mismatch. We have good athletes on our team and you better have some great defensive backs when you face us.”
