Cody Loss sparked Reeths-Puffer’s 4-2 win over Holland West Ottawa in boys soccer on Thursday.

Loss scored a hat trick on three straight goals and led Reeths-Puffer to a 2-0 halftime lead on a pass from Evan Hall. Just 21 seconds into the second half, Loss gave the Rockets a 3-0 lead on an unassisted breakaway. Just 12 minutes later,  he struck again and Reeths-Puffer was up 4-0.

The Rockets held an early 1-0 edge as Loss set up a Tyler Brown goal.

Troy Gilmore posted seven saves in goal for Reeths-Puffer. The Rockets were outshot by Holland West Ottawa 9-8.
