Finding the end zone is the name of the game and Fremont was unsuccessful at it Thursday night in its travels to Sparta.

The Packers fell 6-0 despite holding Sparta scoreless in the first half. The Spartans’ score would come in the third quarter.

Fremont made a fourth quarter drive to the 10 yard line but couldn’t hold on to the possession of the ball. Blake Siersma highlighted the drive with a 38-yard pass from quarterback Christian Wade.

Siersma would finish with eight catches for 104 yards.

Wade had 126 yards passing and was 11 of 24.

Fremont’s ground attack struggled as Dylan Collins led with 25 yards rushing on eight attempts.

Defensively the Packers were led by Wyatt Campbell who had 10 tackles and a sack.
