Holton downs Lakeview in girls volleyball

HOLTON – The Holton Red Devils varsity volleyball team had no trouble Wednesday evening dispatching Central States Activitives Association rival Lakeview, downing the Wildcats in three games 25-14, 25-13 and 25-21.

Red Devil Rachel Younts led the way with 13 points and four aces, seven digs and 12 kills. Teammate Jackie Stone had eight kills and seven digs, while Shelbey Younts contributed 13 points and two aces, and 20 assists in the victory. Liz Colvin added three blocks for Holton.
