Montague quarterback Jacob Buchberger had a game to remember on  Friday night against the Ravenna Bulldogs.

Buchberger had more than 400 yards of total offense and led the Wildcats to a 47-20 victory over the Bulldogs.

Buchberger rushed 12 times for 133 yards and one touchdown and completed 9-of-21 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. It wasn’t just the Bucherberger show, however. Chris Carroll rushed 17 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Buchberger’s key targets were Alex VanVleet, who caught five passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns and Wyatt Ford, who caught two passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.  Ford had one receiving touchdown and one rushing.

Ben Rupert led the defense with 19 tackles, while Cameron Brayman had 16 and Ford had 11. Ford also had an interception.

Montague led 34-20 at the half after putting up 27 points in the pivotal second quarter.
