MCC women’s soccer team beats Cincinnati State 3-1

Ashlee Taylor scored two goals Saturday to lead the Muskegon Community College women’s soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Cincinnati State.

Taylor opened the scoring with a goal for the Jayhawks with two minutes remaining in the first half. Linsye Haan was credited with an assist.

The Jayhawks pulled away in the second half with goals from Alyssa Panozzo and Taylor. Panozzo scored 12 minutes into the half with a header from a corner kick by Anna Carmean. Taylor got her second goal on a great pass from Timera Crosby with eight minutes remaining.
