MUSKEGON – It was the same old story at Wednesday’s Greater Muskegon Athletic Association (GMAA) girls golf city tournament title.

And for the Mona Shores golf squad, it’s one great story.

The Sailors took the city title for the sixth-straight year, defeating second-place Western Michigan Christian by 37 strokes, and third-place Fruitport by 57 strokes.

Western Michigan Christian’s Abbie Alfree’s took medalist honors, finishing with an 83, while Shores’ Rylee George was second with an 87. All four Sailor golfers, in fact, finished in the top ten, with Darian Smith (96) coming in third, Kennedy Potts (104) in seventh, and Kendall McKinley (106) in eighth overall.
