The Muskegon Lumberjacks begin their 2013-14 regular-season schedule on Sept. 28 against the Indiana Ice. The Jacks have a  number of opportunities available for young professionals seeking invaluable experience in the sports industry.

“Having experience working hands-on in sports is both invaluable to the young professional seeking opportunities, but also to employers desiring professionals who truly have a passion and/or calling to the sports entertainment industry,” said Rob Murphy, the Vice of President of Business Development for the Lumberjacks and longtime sports industry executive.  “We have both paid and unpaid opportunities for the upcoming season.  Having worked with numerous NCAA and professional teams over the last decade, I know how vital it is for young professionals to have experience in sports if they want to be considered for nearly any entry or certainly mid-level position in this industry.”
