The visiting Ludington Orioles led  21-0 at half time  and cruised over Grant with a  28-7 victory.

Taylor Fallrath scored two touchdowns for Ludington on a 31 yard run in the first quarter and a 55 yard passing strike from Chad Large in the fourth quarter.

Ludington was able to secure their 21 point lead at halftime with two scoring strikes from Large to Ryan Bowen for 8 yards and a 35  yarder to Jake Kazynski.

Grant fought back to a narrow the gap at 21-7 in the third quarter with a Kaleb Hepinstall’s 56 yard reception from Garrett Vomy and a Brian Bosker extra point.

The Tigers had two opportunities within the 10 yard line but were stopped.

“We had  a great defensive effort  and did enough offensively to win,” said Ludington coach Charlie Gunsel.

Austin Garza led Grant with 80 yards rushing on 9 carries.
