Reeths-Puffer earned one of its biggest wins in recent memory on Friday night.

The Rockets knocked off unbeaten Zeeland East, the third ranked team in the state in Division 3, 46-26 in an OK Black game played at Zeeland East.

The win improves Reeths-Puffer to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the OK Black, which earns the Rockets a tie for the conference lead with Muskegon.

R-P broke from a 14-14 halftime tie by outscoring Zeeland East 19-0 in the third quarter.

Julian Munday scored on runs of 57 and 17 yards in the third quarter and Dereko Riley added a 38-yard scoring run.

Garrett Blanshine opened the scoring for R-P in the opening quarter with a 9-yard run.

Riley scored on a 62-yard run in the second quarter for R-P and Chase Smith and Riley added TD runs of 2 and 16 yards respectively in the final quarter.

Riley led R-P with 223 yards rushing for R-P and Munday added 121 yards on 11 carries.

DeAngelo Williams led the R-P defense with 14 tackles and Josh Buie added 10. Evan McCrary recorded two sacks for the Rockets.
