MUSKEGON – It didn’t take long for the Muskegon Community College to exert its dominance Thursday evening over visitng Ancilla, as they dismantled the Chargers in three games, 25-18, 25-16, 26-24.

The Jayhawks’ record now stands at 23-4 overall and 8-1 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA).

Meghan Birr finished with 32 assists, seven kills and six digs to lead MCC, while teammate Brandie Jones totaled 12 kills, six digs and three blocks, and Beka German had nine kills, nine digs and four blocks in the victory.

MCC’s Elyse Ray contributed eight kills, two aces and four blocks, with Brook Morgan adding five aces and 11 digs, and Amber Carmean adding 15 digs.
