YPSILANTI – Two relay teams from the Muskegon Catholic/North Muskegon Co-op girls swim team finished Saturday’s Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA) meet with season-best times, and another finished with a state meet qualifying time.

The meet, held at Eastern Michigan University, featured dozens of swim teams located throughout the state.

The Crusader swimmers on the 200 Free  Relay team made the state-meet cut with a 1-minute, 46.62-second finish, good for 37th overall.

That relay team is made up of Erin Carpenter, Lucy Carpenter, Kelly Stone and Kara Komarek.

MCC’s 200 Medley Relay team, consisting of Lucy Carpenter, Ev Albertson, Kara Komarek and Erin Carpenter, finished 45th overall with a season’s best time of 2:02.72, as did the squad’s 400 Free Relay team – made up of Hailee McKenna, Alyssa Adamczak, Kyra Pikowitz and Kelly Stone – who finished in a season-best 4:05.14, good for 55th overall.
