Grand Haven’s tournament run fell short in Tuesday’s regional soccer semifinals, falling 2-1 in a shootout to Okemos.
Grand Haven looked as though it was going to have a strong offensive effort by getting a goal within the first 60 seconds of the match.
Mike Moran gave the Bucs the 1-0 lead on the early strike.
But Okemos responded before haltime and took a 1-1 tie into the break.
The Bucs fell behind early in the shootout 1-0, but managed to regain the tie until the last shot.
Okemos goalie Kevin Corbett denied a Moran shot for the win.
