The Kent City Eagles didn’t need long Thursday night to dispatch OK Silver foe Godwin Heights, defeating the Wolverines 3-1.

Kent City won 25-18, 24-26, 25-9, 25-16.

Justine Wolter led the Eagles with eight kills, eight points, two aces and 29 digs, while Kassidy Heeringa finished with six kills, 13 assists, 17 service points, three aces and a block.

Brandi Boehm  totaled six kills, nine points, an ace and a block, with teammate Kelsey Krueger adding six kills, Kayleigh Hartley with eight assists, and Olivia Harrison with eight points and two aces in the victory.

Kent City is now 17-6 overall.
