SCOTTVILLE – Mona Shores runners from both the girls and boys teams did well Tuesday at the Kelder Poured Walls Invitational at Mason County Central High School.

The Sailor girls team finished second overall, while the Sailor boys were third.

Though the girls team was missing some of its main runners, the team accumulated the second-lowest score (64), just one point off the Manistee, who took the meet with a score of 63.

Mona Shores runner Jackie Seward was second , while teammate Sarah Resterhouse finished seventh,  Morgan Dennison placed 13th, and Sam Morse placed 14th.

The following Sailor runners ran personal-best times at the meet: Jenna Beemer, Madison Cirner, Angie Grinwis, Abby Keessen, Lea Paparella, Alex Rakowski, Sarah Resterhouse, Rannen Stone and Stine Wiik.

On the boys side, the Sailors took their third-place finish after totaling 126 points.

Medaling for the Sailor boys were Michael Gale-Butto, Neil Olson, and Austin Boynton.

The following Sailor boy runners ran PRs: Austin Boynton, John Burnett, Lloyd Cisneros, Tyler Gagnon, Neil Olson, Adam Pawlowski, Justin Tokarczyk, and Ryan Wasilewski.
