The Muskegon Community College womens volleyball squad defeated rival Jackson Community College Wednesday, defeating the Jets in four games 25-18, 25-11, 21-25, 25-21.

Leading the Jayhawks was Brandi Jones with 27 kills and three aces, with Elyse Ray totaling eight kills, and Beka German with seven kills, nine digs and seven blocks.

Meghan Birr had 47 assists, 10 assists and two aces, while Autumn Winger had five blocks, Amber Carmean had 24 digs, and Lindsey Kotecki with seven kills for the Jayhawks.

MCC’s record now sits at 22-4  and 7-1 in the conference.
