Caleb Sampson scored on a breakaway with six minutes remaining to give Reeths-Puffer a 3-2 victory over Muskegon Thursday in O-K Black soccer action.

The Rockets finished the regular season 8-11-3 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

Reeths-Puffer jumped out to a 2-0 lead with first half goals from Tyler Brown and Noah Sorn. Muskegon got on the board before halftime with a tally from Miguel Flores, then tied the game in the second half with another goal from Flores.

Sampson’s goal sealed the win for the Rockets, who will host Spring Lake next week in the opening round of the district tournament.
