Here I am once again. Scratching my dome and pondering how am I going to pull it together with my weekly football picks? One thing I know for darn sure is there isn’t a more exciting matchup than between Mona Shores and Reeths-Puffer.
So I guess I’m just going to toss the chips in the air and see where they fall. Sometime it takes plain luck when it comes down to the nit and gritty.
Fruitport and Muskegon Catholic will be a game I’d sure like to be at. Whitehall and Ravenna is another possible toss up.
Can Hesperia reverse its misfortunes over the last few weeks with a win over Chipp Hills? How about the Norse, can they upset Shelby? My sources all tell me no, but the experts can be wrong.
One football-picking savant on the LSJ staff has finally fallen out of first place. The ole opinionator, Steve Gunn, went 14-5 in Week 7 and succumbed to Mark Lewis who came through with a fine 17-2 performance.
I do have to say I feel for our Muskegon area sports history buff Jimmy Moyes. The guy works his tail off every week trying to make the right picks and he just can’t seem to get any help. Mr. Moyes went 16-3 last week, but currently holds the bottom spot with Dave Tomczak. I got a feeling this week is going to be his moment.
Let’s finally take a look at where the LSJ staff stands with our weekly football picks and find out what the gurus of Muskegon area football think will happen in Week 8.
