The Grant volleyball team kept its successful season alive by defeating Fremont 3-0 Tuesday in Class B district tournament action.
The Tigers won all three sets by close scores – 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.
Summer Schuitema paced Grant with 4 aces, 15 kills, 17 assists and four blocks. Sierra Schuitema added 9 kills and 13 assists, Emily Gabrielse had 19 digs and Nicole Majeske had 16 digs.
The Tigers, now 33-11, will face Tri-County Thursday in the district semifinals.
Hannah Maat led Fremont with 4 aces, Kera Howell added 9 kills and Taylor Hannah contributed 20 digs. The Packers wrapped up their season with a 24-24-2 record.
