Kent City made its presence known in its district volleyball match against Wyoming Lee on Tuesday. The Eagles won convincingly in three sets, 25-11, 25-10 and 25-4.

The win places the Eagles in the Class C district semifinals where they will face Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian on Thursday.

Kassidy Heeringa led the Eagles with 16 assists, 12 service points, one ace and one block while Justine Wolter had 17 digs, 9 kills and two blocks.

Kelsey Krueger tallied four aces and 11 service points and had seven kills for Kent City. Brandi Boehm added 13 service points and one ace and had 13 kills.

Kayleigh Hartley had 11 assists for the Eagles (24-12).
