Ludington advances, Mason County falls at Class B district volleyball semifinals

MANISTEE – The Ludington Orioles had no problem with Benzie Central Wednesday night, as the Orioles defeated Benzie in three sets, 25-22, 25-17, 25-16, in a Class B district semifinal match.

On the other side of the bracket, Kingsley defeated Mason County Central 25-21, 25-19, 25-19.

Ludington and Kingsley will meet Friday night for the district title.

Mason County was led by Madison Geers, who finished with 19 kills and 17 digs, while Abbie Berringer had three kills and 27 assists. Kylie Mount and Ashley Pike added 11 and 13 digs, respectively, in the loss.
